PTC in China

In cooperation with the Kadoorie Charitable Foundation and the Ministry of Health China, PTC commenced its three-year training project in China in September 2010.  Having taught 107 courses in the first year, PTC is now aiming to teach 300 courses (6000 Chinese doctors) in the second year.

The initial training in China was delivered by overseas PTC instructors and whilst these overseas instructors continue to visit China (to supervise, facilitate and ensure quality control), as more Chinese doctors are trained to become instructors, Chinese PTC instructors are now taking on the responsibility of presenting and delivering the courses throughout China.
